The New LP song: “Burn It To The Ground.”
I have the upmost respect for LP. This is however not a sound that I am interested in. However I must say I’d listen to this over Lady GaCrap or bebiez any day. The video on the other hand-beautiful! I’m hoping to hear some more with LP, and hoping that this is not the direction their headed in… I miss the old Hybrid Theory days.
Something to look forward to in the coming month for sure is Miss May I:
this looks-br00tal.

Wow- What to say about this show!
I arrived on set around two PM and had the pleasure of interviewing the guys from My Darkest Days… You can see the Interview below..
Now for the show: For My Darkest Days I was in the photo pit but unfortunately the pit was so far back that my camera’s lens just could not do the job…
Anywho- The band RAWKED the stage and got us pumped for the next act. It was a little unfortunate because half the crowd was not there yet..and they only played a 4 song set! So if your going just for My Darkest Days…go early! They only have a 20 minute slot. I will definitely be keeping a closer look out for next time they are around..to see a full set.
Seether- LOVE them. period. Surprisingly I was disappointed with their performance. It seemed like they were out of it, because there was little stage presence until the very last song when they finally got a spurt of energy. Either way it’s always great to sing along with one of your favorite bands live.
Bush- Never got into them much, but they did rawk the crowd that night. Especially the more mid age folk, who knew every song line by line! Not bad for some older dudes!
& Nickelback..
The absolute best show I have attended. period. The effects and lighting were enough in themselves to blow you away. The set was amazing, along with their stage performance. These guys deserve everything they have worked for!
Just to show you HOW AWESOME some parts of this show were here’s a pic I snapped from my camera:

The tickets are more on the expensive side..but i PROMISE you that this tour is worth it! I have been to ALOT of shows but I mean it when I say that this one is the BEST I have attended yet!

What a show! Theory of a Deadman RAWKED Allentown last week. I was lucky enough to snag a spot in the show that not only was SOLD OUT but OVERSOLD by 250 people! Needless to say: It was PACKED!
The show started off with a band new to me: Stellar Revival.
For an opening act, I feel that these guys did GREAT! It was better than I expected, and I ended up looking more into them after the show. Their current hit is called “The Crazy Ones.” You Can listen to it below:
After Stellar Revival left the stage, Pop Evil took on. I have heard a few verses from these guys but it never really stuck with me. Overall their your average rock band-nothing huge there. They do-however have a GREAT stage presence. They were ALL OVER- literally: From side to side, crowd surfing, and even on top of the lighting! If your looking for a wild rock show: These are the guys to look for!

After an amazing performance by Pop Evil-Theory Of A Deadman came on center stage.
The line-up was set perfectly:

They came ready to rawk. The crowd went crazy for every song it seemed as they played on. It was like a fantasy to scream the lyrics with a thousand other people around you. Besides that fact they did have a good stage presence and the lighting was great as well (The lighting before them was horrible!)
Check the pictures on facebook-There are about 130 pictures from this epic event.
If you have the chance to go see this show: It was only $20 and I promise you, it’s worth your money.
Their newest album-“The Truth Is…” came out last July if you have not picked a copy up yet, & The tour will continue threw August so be sure to be on the lookout!
Some photos from the Theory of the deadman show!

Tractor Trailers Ad’s-

Seen all over PA- its simple-“America’s Oldest brewery.” Which leads it to tell a story. Its concrete and credible because of the yuengling logo and bottles. Anyone from the Northeast is sure to love this simplistic truck.

I personally have never seen this until my research today but think its an eye catcher! There is no text besides the logo which is “Coa-Cola”. Which makes this truck very simple. Its unexpected because of the larger than life size coke bottles, which also makes them concrete and credible. This is a great eye-catching truck!

Simple- “Going, Going, Gone.” Not very expected- McDonalds always seems to have life size food on their trucks with a cool saying. So nothing new here. It is however- Concrete and Credible with the McDonalds logo in the back corner. and on the legendary fries.

What is a tractor-trailer blog post without a Wal-Mart truck?!
Wal-Mart’s new saying on the trick has made this a simple AD-“Save money, Live better.” nothing is unexpected, emotional, or tells a story. It does have Credibility with the Wal Mart across the back. Would I say this is an awesome AD? No..but its decent. Just..overdone. Wal Mart’s truck all seem to be the same. Suggestion: Mix it up!
Until next time!
Graduation Countdown: 21 Days! :]

This is an AD for Ron Paul. This one is: Simple, “Cut Spending” If your a political person, it could be seen as unexpected. This ad seems to be very clear which makes it concrete. Credibility is here because we have the name “Ron Paul,” and also a picture of him. There is no emotions attached here, but I believe that the AD is trying to tell a story. Ron Paul if elected, says he will cut spending.

Simple. It’s like a personal little night just for you-but on a bilboard. Its definitely unexpected. This is the first time I have seen the city inviting all the “single ladies” out on the town, it’s very unique! This bilboard is concrete and credible- The message is clear, and the city of Philadelphia makes it credible. To a single lady, this could be emotional-not a sad emotion, but an exciting one! Of course this tells a story- Come to philly and party all night then brunch the next day. It is very appealing to any 20-30 year old single ladies.

Simplicity- “The Number of lighters in the air. How America’s rock idols should be chosen.” It is a little lengthy-but at the same time is not long. For a zippo AD, this is not unexpected. All of the zippo ad’s I have seen are the same picture with a change in the text. It is however: Concrete and Credible. Its lacking emotion, but definitely tells a rock story.

Simplicity-“Unleash The Beast.” Unexpected-YEAH! There’s a guy doing a backflip off a roof! The ideas are concrete, and its credible because of the Monster Logo. There are no emotions attached here, but it does tell a story-Drink Monster and you’ll be able to do crazy stuff like do backflips off of roofs!

This AD has everything. Simplicity-“Stop Slaughtering Us!” Unexpectedness-Who kill’s horses?! Concreteness-Fran & Jan’s Wish no more slaughter. It grabs your attention with that typeface and the RED SLAUGHTERING. then you see a picture of horses and think, “How horrible!” Its credible- by the logo in the corner, its telling a story and most importantly this AD keys into our emotions. Its either frustration, sadness, or anger but either way this AD gets you.

This made me chuckle. Chick Fil A did it again. They are masters when it comes to bilboards and AD’s. This one is: Simple, Unexpected, and Credible. The phrase could not get any simpler “5 out of 5 cows agree.” Unexpected with the cow figures on the outside of the bilboard painting it on makes for a sure double take of the AD and chuckle (which is keying into Emotion.) Lastly of course its Credible for the Chick-Fil-A logo at the bottom.

Simple, “One Nation Indivisible.” Im not sure what this bilboard is referring to but it sure knows how to grab your attention. It is also credible- NCSecular.org, and even tells some kind of a story. I’m just not sure what that story is. If you are very patriotic this could key into some kind of Emotions also.
Last but not least is from my favorite band-
This came straight off the bands Instagram. They are doing in store signing and this is the AD on the outside of the buildings. It is simple with the album name “Vulnerable” and “Album out now.” It is unexpected because of the Child on the front, and leaves you to wonder-“Why?” It is Credible because of the band-The Used. Of course it tells a story that is what music does. So this AD being for their new album tells a new story!

I love the old school Mt. Dew signs. They have many characteristics: Simplicity, “It’ll tickly yore Innards!” Unexpectedness- The bottle popping threw his cowboy hat. Credibility is the Mt. Dew logo and the guy. He was on all the advertisements back then.

Titanic 3D
It’s simple- “Experience it like never before.”It is very credible- Leonardo Dicapro, Kate Winset, and James Cameron. Also with names like IMAX 3D and Real 3D. It tells a story that almost everyone is familiar with, and that story triggers our emotions. this movie will be a success for sure.

Chick-fil-A
Its simple-“Brake 4 Chikin”. Its unexpected in the fact that Chicken is spelled “Chikin” and that there are two cows as a mascot for a chicken restaurant. The Chick-Fil-A logo makes it credible. This does not cue into our emotions, but it does tell a funny story that is bound to make you smile!
& The BAD AD of the week-

I found this on the side of my blackboard page. Now it is not horrible, but it just does nothing for the Spring Banquet. It is boring. They could of put a cool design behind it, maybe an art canvas? Or a picture of the Bella Vista-because I have NO idea what/where that is.
